you're welcome. I will correct myself but they may not cancel the rest of the season. I remember watching a show about them when one of the team members could not fly anymore and they brought back a guy from the season before. They may do that again but I am sure they are going to take a good amount of time off, which of course they should.

I used to live in MD across the street from the Naval Academy. I loved (LOVED!!) watching their shows every year, typically the Wed after Memorial Day. For those that don't know, the Academy is right on the Severn River and the Bay. They'd literally do it all over the water, and everyone would gather on the training/sports fields that go right up to the seawall. It was awesome, especially because they'd practice two days before- you got three days of shows for free!

Sad that they most likely won't be doing it this year- makes me wonder if they will do the typical flyby during graduation too. How horrible that they family watched it too. :(

There was an AP article out today that they would skip their show this coming weekend in Georgia but could be back in the sky for a May 5 scheduled show at Ouffitt AFB, Nebraska.

Barksdale had their air show last weekend (I missed it ) and they paid respect to the Blue Angel Pilot. Six years in a row and I forgot about the show and missed it !!!

They will most likely take off for a show or two whil ethe team comes together, and gets sometime behind this, and are all checked by the flight surgeons to make sure they are mentaly ready. Then its busisness as usual...sounds cold blooded but thats the way it is. I am wondering what the investigation will show....they dont wear "G" suits.....think a momentary balck out due to the hihg G's coupled with low altitude ??? God Bless him and his.
