Anyone know the Sugar Land Photog on the news tonight?

Was he a member here? He shot a couple of people at an apartment complex and then turned the gun on himself.

just saw on the news he was a photographer and was wondering the same thing...best thing is to pray for the family of his victims and his family as well....the news said it was a copy cat from friday....i hope that's not the case but nowadays you never know

Don't know him but looks like he ran Sugar Land Photo.

The site is down but here's the Google cache that shows his name in the keywords in the bottom.

It's sad. My prayers are with his friends and family.

I met the guy a couple of months ago at his apartment (yesterday's crime scene). After we'd resolved the issue for which I'd been called and was about to leave, I noticed a battery charger near the door and we got on the subject of photography. He told me he had a photo business in SL and that he used to shoot Nikon, but switched to Canon. Before I left, I suggested he join TPF. No idea if he ever did. You can imagine my surprise when I saw the news yesterday.

I won't go into detail about why I was there (most of you can deduce that it was an official visit), but he seemed relatively stable at the time.
