How many of you have other jobs?

I was going to ask how many of you have "real" jobs, but then I remembered ya'll are not musicians. So just out of curiosity, how many here have other jobs and if so, what? And yes Andrew, I know you're a musician.

I have a main job, running a local emergency dispatch center and would consider leaving it if the conditions were right.

Hardly, a musician... That would have been back in the day.. On and off from around 1991/92 then again 1999/2000ish.. In the early 90s, that was my primary job...

However, my "real" job for the past 14yrs has been in IT for a large publishing corporation. These days, I am an Information Security Manager that still has to deal with WAN/Firewall stuff on occasion, but more with legal matters and compliance regulations as well as "Risk Mitigation".. YeeHaw. Photography is much more fun.

My "put food on the table job" is video production, mostly I do closed captioning for hunting and fishing shows.

I'd love to have enough photography business to make it a "former job."

My "Paycheck & Benefits" job is as a Private Investigator (mostly corporate level, NO divorce).

I've been an engineer working on various lasers in the semiconductor world for 20+

Thats my "fun" job ... my "real" fun job is photography.

I am a Security Officer, plus retired firefighter, and retired from the military reserves --23 years-- as a flight engineer, and at one time had a store front studio...now play at photography as much as I work at it, do enough to make my beer money.

When I'm not pretending to photograph stuff, I work in a lab fixing people's photos.

I work at the front desk of a hotel, but it actually has turned into a good thing for wedding contacts. They come in to look at the reception room we have. I also work VERY part time at an apartment complex. But Im looking at 2008 to be able to just do the photo thing!

Respiratory Therapist- Manager by day and all around gopher/model/assistant as needed to NoLight with all his photog needs...
