Unhappy hubby dropped my camera - 04-30-2007, 11:29 AM

About 2 weeks ago my hubby dropped my camera (rebel xt) - broke the lens, but we thought the camera was ok. Due to the storms in the area, I really hadn't used it much - i'd taken a few shots and thought maybe the color was a little off - until yesterday. Took 150 shots pretty quickly and the color is all over the place. I might be able to manage with that except it's totally blowing out all skin tones.

not sure rather to send it to canon or just to look for another one. doesn't help that I'm in the middle of a camera class with a final project due in 2 weeks (hence the picutres taken yesterday). Not sure what I'm going to do.

im sorry to hear about your camera. can you borrow one just to finish your course? id send the camera off to canon and see what they say. if the costs exceed what you ware willing to pay, i say its time for hubby to pay for an "upgrade." 30d?
