Arrow Thanks Redmouse aka Jordan!! - 05-01-2007, 10:59 PM

Jordan came over this evening to give Lisa, Brandy (nitromike's wife), Ana (purpleelepant) and Corey (Jordan's friend) an entry level class on DSLRs and photogaphy.

Mike and I cant teach for crap so Jordan was nice enough to stop by and do the honors... J-man, you did a great job my friend... I know everyone really enjoyed the class and learned a lot from it....

Thanks again...

Lisa sends her best as well

Jordan you are the MAN!!!!! - 05-01-2007, 11:34 PM

Jordan Thank you for the class. I learned so much tonight. You are a great and patient teacher. Now I know the importance of a 2.8 lens. I was lost in space before today. Thank you for shining the light on my confusion.

Thank you all for coming over tonight! I had a great time........

Thumbs up Very Well Done!!! - 05-01-2007, 11:36 PM

I just want to say a BIG Thank You to Jordan (Redmouse) for a job well done. I have been familiar with most of the photo terms for quite a while now and have had problems trying to fit all the pieces together. Your lessons tonight really helped me to start fitting all those pieces into the DSLRs and photogaphy world. You have really helped me out a bunch.

Able was our model and we were all threatened not to post any pics from the class!!!

Hmmmmm........

Call me cynical but this one-on-one photo session might have more behind it than first appears. <scratching head>

Jordan, I would ask Abel if you can borrow his future 300mm f/2.8 or 400mm f/2.8 lens from time to time for your efforts in stressing this importance to Lisa.

I would have thought Abel would have started out slow and had a Think Tank Bag developer come by the house and explain the importance of using the proper bag but it seems Abel has gone straight to the top to work on Lisa for a new lens.

DON'T DENY IT ABEL!!!

Next class: The importance of a full frame 1-series body for portrait work, and the added benefits of a f/1.2L lens to put on it.

Hidden motive perhaps?
