Adobe Lightroom - 05-07-2007, 01:40 PM

Hello folks!
I'm really embarassed to ask this but I have too because I just don't know. I loaded a trial version of CS2 and it recently expired. The whole time I had it, I was completely satisfied processing my RAW files in Bridge: batch view/processing, WB adjust, sharpening, cropping, vignetting and save as TIFF/JPEG. Only time even went into the Photoshop part of program was to play around with the tools/filters.

Ok...my question. I really liked Bridge. It fit my needs. I looked up Adobe Lightroom...and it seems to fit my style even better. Are either of these programs stand-alone or do I have to have Photoshop to access either Bridge or Lightroom...

Such a dumb question but I just don't have a clue.

Lightroom is stand-alone. Bridge is part of Photoshop.

And of course Adobe offers a 30 day trial of Photoshop Lightroom so you can try it and make sure it has the functionality you're looking for.
