AT&T home Zone - 05-07-2007, 10:15 PM

Anyone here have the AT&T home zone? this is the home phone service, the Dish TV service and the DSL package.

I now work for them due to the whole AT&T buys Cingular deal, but have not used any AT&T or SBC home services since about 1999 when I ditched DSl and went cable.

I kinda do, except I got my Dish from a local vendor because A.) They had a better intro deal and B.) They could put it in next day.
That being said, I am very happy with my ATT dsl.... never had a serious problem or outage, just wish it didn't need a hardline phone service to get. I have a VoIP phone too, so if I just had the dsl I would be ok without the hardline.

However, I have been looking into the new ATT U-Verse, which uses fiber-optic services to provide both internet AND TV to your home, without the annoyance of weather related signal loss (most every time a good storm rolls in I lose sat). The price is good, and would have the complete telecomm package , and does not require you to have a landline phone. I already pay for VoIP, as I said, and have cell service too, so why do I need another service?
Hope this was helpful.

Anthony

EDIT: U-verse has ALOT more chan for the money, AND offers many more HD options than Dish.

We have ATT home phone service and DSL. Been using it for 5 years or so. No complaints except that they never lower your bill when new packages are offered over the years. It's up to you to call them and ask for the new lower price (this happened with our DSL - once upon a time it was about $50 a month, now the same service is something like $20 a month).
