Bird rehab in plano?

My wife found this little fella in the street in front of our home this morning. He apparently fell out of a nearby tree because he's obviously too young to fly. A friend of hers said we should call the Outdoor Learning Center in Plano, but it's a little too late at the moment. Is this our best option or does anybody know a better route that's open on the weekends?

Sorry to hear that Torrey but the Outdoor Learning Center is the only place I have heard of.

Anybody know what kind of bird he was?

Sorry he didn't make it but usually when one leaves the nest that early they are either not getting any food or they are, sadly, forced out by the more dominant siblings. He didn't have much of a chance because he was probably already very weak from lack of food.

It looks like it may have been a Bluejay from the band on his head.
