Ever Heard of a Round Robin? - 05-13-2007, 11:56 PM

Well, I garden when I can and trade seeds with random people on the internet. There is this thing called a Round Robin where everyone who wants in gets their address on the list. Then the person who starts it throws in a bunch of seeds, a printout of the address list and sends it to the first person. Then they get the box, look inside and pick out what they like and replace with equal amount or more. Ex: you take 3 baggies of seeds, you put it at least 3 from your garden. Then they send it to the next person on the list, and so on. There is a thread online where people post when they got it, take pictures sometimes and send it off again. At the end it goes back to the original person with completely different contents.

It's really fun and I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in doing something like this with prints? Like 8x10's or something. Also it's fun to sneak extra random items in there, like candy or whatever. I can start the Robin.

A variation of this is just to make a Secret Santa-type list and give everyone the name of who they get and they send a package to them.

Can whoever is right before me put in a 400/2.8? I'll replace it with an equal weight of very practical and sensible gravel and brick.

I'd be nervous someone would put something illegal in it and my luck I'd be the one answering the door to the DEA!!! LOL
A+ for effort but I'll stick to our family RR ;-) thanks!

my wife did that with a cake recipe where the first person send one ingredient to a friend they send it and so on. then they all get together to eat the cake.

I think its a scam by the post office to collect more money
