I vidit DPR daily, but I don't think the reviews have necessarily been objective in the past. All we can do is wait and see what happens to the siyte. The chciken little crowd at the Nikon forum is all stirred up over this as if they had any say in the decision.

Way to go Phil! It's about time he really made some cash from DPReview.

As for the forum content, it stinks. But the reviews and news are excellent. YMMV.

From an insider source, one to another, who knows.....unless phil discloses the number.

7 millions unique visitor and over 22 millions session per month, that site is one of the oldest and heaviest traffic for Dig Cam.

DPR is actually the first digital camera forum community i signed up, and I love their review.

I agree with this. The forums are a bit abrasive, but Phil's reviews are some of the best, most detailed reviews one can get on the net.

I can't imagine thats a real number...my guess would be less than $10m but since the details were undisclosed I guess we won't know until Amazon's annual report comes out.

I'm pretty sure Phil has stated in the past that the review cameras are loaners, although in at least some cases they're on loan long enough to get impressions from extended use.
