Pan's Labyrinth - 05-18-2007, 04:18 PM

Has anyone seen this movie? I'm a huge fan of Guillermo del Toro and I have seen the previews of this and it looks amazing. So as a matter of impulse, I bought it as Sam's today. I'm sure I haven't made a mistake, but I was wanting to get other's reactions to this movie.
Thanks,
Joshua

Great movie! Not for kids. I hope to buy it and The Fountain soon.

I think that if you buy both P.L. & The Fountain you get a $5 discount @ Best Buy!

I rented it last night. One of the best movies I've ever seen. Today I happened to see it for sale locally. There are two versions -- the basic no frills and (for only a few $$ more) the 2-CD set with (I presume) all the juicy extras. If I was buying I'd definitely get the set.

Has anyone ever seen "The Devil's Backbone," by del Toro? It was really good as well.

I wanted to catch this in theaters but didn't. I've waited this long though, I think I'll wait a bit longer for the HD-DVD release. I currently have Devil's Backbone sitting on the counter from Netflix, will probably watch it in the next week.

FOr those of you who bought the DVD, does it have an english dubbed version? My husband really wants to see this one, but he can't stand subtitles (he reads slowly, so he misses a lot, and finds himself reading more than watching the movie...)
