"Lost" Spoiler Potential

Okay...I know we had/have the "24" thread....but Lost is my second fave. show.

Sadly, I don't know many other people up here that are crazy about the show. And after the 2-hour season finale last night, I had nobody to call and gush with.

Jack, Locke, Ben, Oceanic Flight 815, The Pearl Station..... does anybody here know what I'ma talking about.

I am.. love the show.. although Heroes replaced it as my favorite network show this season... (which since Lost used to be the ONLY network show I watched on a regular basis, that's saying a lot).

Last night's finale' had my jaw dropping once I realized where they were going with this... and left me dreaming about what they are going to do next to solve it... are they really heading there? Are they going to do some sort of time travel/reset to avoid that fate? Does that mean there's hope for Charlie?

Damn... my brain has been on overtime with the possibilities since I finished it last night.

Oh.. and speaking of the stations.. do you get a delight out of seeing what symbols are on each of the stations or is that just me? I giggled to see that the symbol on the Looking Glass station was a rabbit. LOL

BTW: They are not lost. we flew right over them on Oahu. They are on a ranch just off the North Shore. About a day's walk to Wal-mart! How's that for a spoiler!

I love the show! I am SO glad I stayed out of all Lost discussions starting a week before the finale. Some jerk ruined the finale days ahead of time on texags.com. I would have gone ballistic, LOL.

Yeah, I was thinking it felt llike an alternate reality with how messed up Jack was. Despite all the family problems we saw before his father died, it didn't seem like he would be addicted to painkillers and suicidal. I didn't see all that fitting in to pre-crash life, but I wasn't sure. And then they showed his ex pregnant, and I knew something was up. And when he met with a mystery person, I knew it had to be an alternature future or something. That was so cool but also very depressing.

I need to watch this again. There is still so much they can do with it. Who the heck is Naomi and the other boat people? What is Penny doing to find Desmond? Are they going to start working the story backward?

I'm starting to get mad at the fact they keep raising more questions without ever answering any of the old ones. And why in the heck was the line tuned to Penny's vidoe phone anyway? WTH! I'm giving up I swear

Boat People and Naomi: I suspect it is Dharma II .. and their plans for the island are to exploit it.. where Ben and his people, in their own twisted way, were trying to preserve it.

Not answering any questions? They've answered several.. they answered why the plane crashed.. they've solved several of the characters' personal mysteries.. while making the island even stranger, almost supernatural.

First season was about survival and the characters.. second season was about the hatch.. third season was about the others... I have a feeling fourth season is going to be about the island...

They can't give away all the answers.. the show is about the mystery.. if they gave away all the answers, the show would be over.... but then, I figured if they were rescued, the show would be over, too... so what do they do now?

I believe next season is going to be about what happens between getting 'rescued' and Jack telling Kate they need to go back to the island. But who knows.

Lost is datenight at my house :) We have watched since the start! I was balling my eyes out when Charlie drowned. (If that is really what happened)

I agree. I think it will go deeper into the history of the island.

I don't think the supposed "flash forward" tells us much at all. With all the hints of time travel and alternate realities, the scene with Jack and Kate off the island does nothing but blow my mind. All I think it says right now is that them *theoretically* getting off the island causes terrible repercussons, like when Biff picked up that sports almanac. And we don't know if anyone else got off the island with them, in theory.

I think maybe it was Michael or Ben, maybe Locke. The coffin didn't seem very big. It's definitely not Sawyer; he's too tall. Besides, I think Kate would have gone if it was Sawyer, regardless of what else may happen between them.

I was also wondering how they had this instant phone call with Penny. I have to watch it again. I am terrible at remembering details.

I sat there just openmouthed for the entire show.

Didn't cry (much) when Charlie actually drowned...but last week when he was writing the note and then hit Desmond to swim down, I was in tears...but I'm an emotional guy with television and movies (I'm a softy).

Once it was revealed that it was a future scene and not a past...I thought Sawyer was dead, but once I saw the coffin, I thought Ben for sure, even though Jack said he was going to kill him.

I think that was the most violent episode of Lost yet though...13 deaths, guy getting spear-gunned, the big explosions, Jack beating the crap out of Ben.....it was freaking awesome.

That was my biggest question. If she is not on the freighter looking for him, why is she connected to any station. I guess she must be connecte to the Others or Dharma in the outside world, which leads to a thought that her dad's company is connected into this, as well as Sun's dad.

I had a very hard time watching the first season, because of all the crash backflashes. Its was so sad that I couldnt help but tear up!

I didnt realize it was a flashforward until I saw Kate and I just flipped out! I think next season is gonna be fantastic, and I cant wait to see where they go with it!

THANK GOD!!!! other people are as crazy as I am!!! I'm still speachless after last nights show, what a shocker! I kept expecting the usual "two years earlier" to come up after the flashes of Jack. When he was finally busted in the hosp by (Vegas Mike btw)and he said, Go get my dad and see who's drunker' or close to it, then the other doc never really said anything about Jacks dad did he? so was it an alternate universe or really their back on mainland and Jack is so messed up he's forgotten that his dads dead? if you know clear it up for me.
coffin issue, could it be Locke maybe? who else would draw jack but disgust kate? ohhh helll I dont know anymore!!! it's all a mental screw!!! AND WE LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
PS. I bawled both shows regarding charlie, I even screamed "she's left the ringggggg" when they showed it in the bassenet :-( Long live Charlie youuuu are everybody....
