Imagine how this might be useful when combined with something like lightroom, esp. for the pro photogs! (A new way to show your clients material perhaps? Walk them through variations easily? Quickly proof all of your images?)

While it wouldn't be the first thing I'd buy if I had $10k sitting around, it'd be up there with a bunch of other things I don't actually need =)

Official microsoft site for this.

possibilities are endless with this.

Someone reading this might assume that they got the idea from Apple, when in fact, it's been a known technology for many years, and Jeff Han (who has his own company, doesn't work for apple) is the guy who pushed the new sort of interface that both apple and ms are adopting. Han has been producing these sorts of interfaces for the government and other companies for quite some time -- long before apple or ms got the idea to build a product out of it. Of course, the video I linked stated that =)

never said they(Microsoft) got the idea from apple. Apple's touchscreen is not that highly advanced. More pointing towards Han's video.

Ahh, ok, I was assuming that b/c you linked to an apple article instead of the original TED one ( http://www.ted.com/index.php/talks/view/id/65 ), you were implying that apple came up w/ it =)
