I've just got back from hanging my show at the Dublin National Bank. Put up 9 13x19 and 12 8x11 matted prints. Could only use one side of the four display panels which made for only 4 hanging surfaces. They prints are rather close. I would have like to spread them out more.

I'll be there from 1-3pm next Friday 8 June 07. The bank will be serving Dublin Dr Pepper and Dr Pepper cake. Drop buy if you have chance....

Hopefully... we'll have a baseball team or two make it to the State Tourney in Austin next week. If they do, I'll swing by the bank and at least check out the stuff.

Congrats..

Congrats John!

I'd love to come down, check out your work, and pick up some DP. Possibly next Friday, if I can arrange my work schedule.

Very cool John! Congratulations! BTW, I saw on your profile how you would like to live outside the country sometime. Have you considered Spain? I just got back from visiting my brother there in a very remote area - it is pretty cool.

My heart is in the South of France but I've considered Northern Spain (Catalonia and the Basque country) and also Portugal. Ireland is play because income from artistic work is not taxed. But the 1.30 dollar to 1 Euro is killing me. But I would like to become a Ex-Pat. I've always enjoyed living outside the U.S. on the local economy as a traveler as opposed to a tourist.

Good on you! Would be there if I could. Where is the online catalog? By all means, somebody get a picture of the artist, his work and the CAKE!

Cheers!

All the images are taken from these two galleries.

The lead off print (I printed them all myself) is "Abstract on the School Ground" It was done with a tripod and the Zeiss 21/2.8.

Ahh, the South of France - been there. I know, you just want to run necked on the beach! It is definitely cool to work outside the US. I did it for 9 months last year.
