Krappy Kamera Competition 2007 - 06-02-2007, 10:20 AM

The latest issue of CameraArts has the results of the 2007 Krappy Kamera Competition. Wonderful and strange images show once more imagination can do more than gear.

Here are the online images and judges comments.

If you are not familiar with CameraArts, I suggest you get a copy. I find it a wonderful window on what an artistic spirit with a camera can do. It helps not just get out of the Box but points you to OZ by way of the yellow brick road.

I only take 3 photo magazines and this is one of them.

Interesting site. Are they having server problems or do most of their pages not show up on a regular basis?

The Grand Prize in that competition was won by a local photographer, Warren Harold. He is a terrific toy camera photographer and a wonderful person as well.
