If you buy or sell long enough on eBay, you are going to come across the chance for a local pick up. I had my Maxxum 9 film camera on ebay and a guy in Austin buys it this AM. He then emailed me that he was having a problem with his new PayPal account. I gave him their phone number and had already called my self, so I knew they had a long hold time. he got impatient, and drove his Honda Shadow down here to do a pick up. He paid cash, and I had offered free shipping, so I refunded him $10 that i would have paid for the s&h and 3 rolls of film for his extra effort.
