I got a job!

Haven't been on much lately but I thought I would let you all know I got a job in a portrait studio! I start training tomorrow. I am so excited, but also very nervous. I hope I do good. I think it will help me a lot in learning posing and also learning how to talk to people and sell pictures.

Did you submit a weather photo to one of the local stations not too long ago (like a week or so) If you did, I saw it. If you didn't, then I only thought they said your name.

Yes I did on Friday night. I posted it up in the general photo sections along with some others I took that night. Nice to know someone saw it! I was so excited...lol.

I also had the interview for the job that day so it was a pretty good day. I went in that afternoon for to fill out and application and when I gave it back he was like do you have a few minutes. and I was like sure, he was like you want to do an interview? So that was pretty exciting too.

And this is my first "real" job. I have only done babysitting or odd jobs before.

Kent, did you take photo I at Tech in Fall 2005?

Yes, Photo I with Pinch, and then studio with Miller the following semester.

The one and the same. I'm doing good. Technically I am still at Tech, although I laid off this semester -- work was a bit difficult as we ended up being short staffed (still are). As soon as we get that remedied, I'll be back to finish up.
