I was in The Netherlands and Belgium a couple of weeks ago and shot this photo. The place is the Keukenhof Gardens near Rotterdam. The flowers and scenery was absolutely breathtaking. That's my live in model (wife) walking down the path. I was using her as a point of reference to show the massive size of those trees.

I will be there in July/Aug of this year with an overseas wedding. Sadly though many of the flower parks will be closed at that time the city and the country is such an amazing place to visit and to stay for a while!

thanks to all for the comments. Here is another photo I took in the same park.

Mike, you will come back with hundreds of incredible images, and good luck
on your wedding shoot. I understand they close the park for several month, but you may be able to get permission to shoot the wedding there. I'd give it a try because it's well worth it.

The city canal scenes are beautiful as well. They rent boats for parties and take you all over the area, and most cities there have canals. I'll post some canal photos when I have some time.

Here is a picture taken from one of the canal trips. We got rain 7 of 8 days but I was not going to let that stop me. We also missed the fields of flowers because they had an early crop. But it was worth it. We even saw a three story parking lot for bicycles, and I understand there are many of them.

The city government was tired of all the grafitti, and so they made it legal for all the grafitti bandits to show their talents on this walkway street (about three blocks long).
It had some great drawings and designs. You can see my wife waiting patiently while I photograph the walls.
