Flash Player Issues - 06-07-2007, 07:13 PM

i'm havin the hardest darn time installing the new flash player from adobe. I keep getting directed to sites on adobe's page that are dead links. I've uninstalled the old flash player and tried reinstalling the new one. There have been times where it says it's installed and then i go to a website and i get the "you don't have the newest version" message. WTF!!!??? I've come across a few forums where people are having the same problems but nobody's posted any solutions.

Does anyone out there have ANY idea on what the issue is or what i can try. I'm running windows xp home edition (dell inspiron 6000)

err -- never had nor seen this problem before. I have a few questions and suggestions though.

1. What browser are you using?
2. What version of this browser are you using"

if 1. = firefox then try IE
If 1. = IE, then check 2.
if 2. = 6 then upgrade to 7
if 2. = 7 then upgrade to firefox

end if

firefox be here

Try firefox either way, ya might like it better. I know i do...
