Time for a new girlfriend, and the wife said OK. - 06-08-2007, 12:06 AM

My square headed girl friend as my wife calls my computer.

It's finally time to build a new computer. I have been waiting for a couple months ( Ok year) for a motherboard that would do just what I wanted. Just when I thought I had one Intel comes out with a new processor and a second one on the way. What to do. Simple. Wait.

After the long wait of Intel's new chipset that will support the quads yet i wont get one till next year i still wanted a board that would support the quads and new pros to come. The board and new chipset is out. Finally.

I wanted something that would 3 to 4 years and I think I have it.

Gigabyte GA-P35-DQ6
4 gigs ram
Power Supply
e6600
8 drives
Case
sata raid backplane
video
lightscribe cd/dvd

all for just under 2k....
not including shipping..with shipping your looking right at 2k.

come on ups man..

So, I take it you want $9.99 for your G5 foot rest!

What is wrong with your G5, if you do not mind me asking?

Thanks,
