Am I the only one who still likes spam? Our friends were moving and the wife gave us her husband's can o' spam. I was quite excited to get a free can o' spam but Joanna was NOT thrilled. She thought it was "gross". Well, I just finished my second egg, spam, and cheese sandwich and it was delicious! I made the egg sunny side up, cooked the spam a bit in the skillet, then toasted the whole sandwich in the spam skillet. It was MOST tasty! Joanna is MOST disturbed | | | | | Sponsored Links | Premium Members do not see Google advertisements. SIGN UP today and help support our community.

Can't stand the stuff after living on it for two weeks in the Painted Desert one Spring. Oh wait, I think it was DAK instead of SPAM - same concept. Whatever it was, we bought a whole case of it at Sam's Club and prepared it in many different ways over 14 days.

I love Spam!!! I love the way you can cut the loaf into slices then cut the whole loaf in half and it fits on crackers perfect. I keep a couple of cans in my boat along with a box of crackers for the moments when the fish just won't bite. I like to slice it thick and make Spam burgers and slice it thin for Spam sandwiches. How can you not like it? It's 100% pork tenderloin, whatever that is I like it. It's also great diced and cooked in scrambled eggs ! In case I didn't say it, I love Spam!!!

LOL Chris..
14 days of spam.. straight.. EEEK..Rusty...
Nathan.. disturbing your wife is not good.. lol
Allen and John.. you could almost SELL spam..hehe..
I grew up with my grandparents.. THEY thought spam was the greatest invention next to the can opener it came with .. when ever we had company..OUT came the spam.
And if we visited someone , They also had spam. Some did bring out that potted meat stuff. Well we would butter some homeade bread..and slap a slice of spam on it , to my grandparents.. nothing was better than that with a cup of coffee followed by dessert.. LOL
OHH do I like spam.. I will eat it if its nearby... I dont buy it any more. I had my share of it ..LOL

I forgot all about the built in can opener it comes with! Just another thing that makes it so great. Durin gthe wars a can of Spam was worth it's weight in gold, well maybe not gold but I know my grandpa would trade several packs of smokes for one can of Spam.

One of two things that would cause me to divorce my wife. After two weeks of Spam during REFORGER 84, I cannot stomach the stuff.

in Hawaii they have Spam musubi at 7-eleven and even on the ice cream trucks. It's basically spam with sushi rice and nori wrap. I'ts really unappetizing but the locals love that stuff.
edit: Oh I see someone already mentioned Hawaii. I was stationed in Pearl Harber for 3 years so I mention it.

Fried spam and eggs for breakfast. Add a little grape jelly and you have green eggs and spam. Yummy!

Fried Spam and scrambled eggs on white toast, preferably Mrs. Bairds bread. Little shake of salt and a bunch of shakes of black pepper. And a coke...
