Oldest Internet Link - 06-15-2007, 01:57 PM

I Googled myself while enjoying a turkey and rye sandwich at the computer a few minutes ago. It is amazing to see how much "stuff" is out there on the Internet. Here is one link that I dug up that stretches all the way back to 1985.

Question: What's the oldest trace of yourself that you can find on the Internet?

I didn't look very long, but the only thing I found is from here on the forum or on Belles'. Most of my public work was in radio and TV and done well before Al Gore invented the information superhighway.

I found one from 1992. I was the founder of the CBR900RR mailing list. One of the first majordomo mailing lists let loose on the Internet.

I was pretty active on the rec.motorcycles Usenet group. Anyone remember news groups? :old man:

I found some other archives from 1991, but the links appear to be dead

Wow! 1985. That was right after War Games came out. That guy had a superfly Commodore 64 or something.

JOSHUA. lol! That naughty computer!

I've wanted to watch THE NET again. That should be pretty funny by now.
