Help a Kid - Buy a Frosty

My brother works at CPS and sees lots of kids that have horrible lives everyday. Anyway, he passed on some info about a little something that doesn't take any emotional investment, but can make a big difference to a kid.

We invite you to celebrate Father's Day at Wendy's restaurants, where 50 cents from every Frosty purchased during Father's Day Frosty Weekend will be donated to the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, in support of its signature program, Wendy's Wonderful Kids. The Wendy's Wonderful Kids program awards grants to adoption agencies across the nation to move children from foster care into permanent, loving adoptive homes. Where have you been? They introduced the white frosty a while ago. Its kind of sacrilegious if you ask me. I think they were wanting to make a swirl frosty and needed the white. lol!

We went out tonight specifically for frosty's...and BOTH the Wendy's were out! One was out of just chocolate so we went to the other...where they were out of both! I was shocked, appalled and saddened Apparently both of them get their shipment tonight though...

Hmmm... Frosty on lunch break, Frosty on the way home, Frosty with the kids this evening. Sounds good. Besides... This stinking East Texas town doesn't have a DQ so NO BLIZZARDS!
