Help for a blind daTE (KINDA)!!!! - 06-24-2007, 10:34 PM

Hey peeps, I just met a lovely lady on yahoo tonight, but she lives in Columbus (between SA and Houston on I-10). We want to meet sometime next month, and were thinking Austin would be cool.

If any body here would like to chime in and give me ideas for a night or two of romantic bliss in Austin, please do. We both like dancing (not country) and also the finer things like poetry and classical music. Also, and GOOD (but not prohibitively expensive) place to wine and dine would be nice , and then spots for romantic walking under the stars (without too much worries about being mugged).

HELP PLEASE!!!

Our plan is to meet sometime next month maybe around my birthday on the 12th.

PS: She makes me heart pitter-patter already!

Romantic bliss just seems to follow me... But I'm busy most nights, so you're on your own.

Don't forget to post some photos. Romantic bliss sounds like maybe the human form forum would be a good place to put them.....

We were in the Lake Travis area (just outside of Austin) for a wedding last month and it was absolutely beautiful! I don't know the area well enough to give you exact locations though. There were people sailboating and jetski'ing on the lake - might be something fun/romantic for you to do. I'm sure there are places that you can rent a sailboat or jet skis if you don't have your own. While I was working, my husband and 2 sons had a "boys night out" and ate at Canolli Joe's (sp?) - from everything that they described, I think you would like it. It's Italian and supposed to be a local favorite spot to eat.

Not reallyas fast as it seems, I have not felt emotionally close to the estranged wife for quite some time now, and pretty much knew that seperation/divorce was inevitable.

The pregnancy was a surprise, she was on birth control ( I have strong swimmers, the 3 yr old was on the pill too). And, she was the one to leave, even though she is now the one who wants to patch things up..... after a $4000 move to Virginia! Gimme a break!

Now, I can't even see a reason to date her, much less patch things up.

The new woman was a random encounter on a Yahoo chat room. Neither of us are looking for marriage right now, just dating and romance and other stuff which you will NOT see in the Human Form forum! (Sorry Tom). We do have, however , a crazy-good chemistry, therefore saving the cost of e-Harmony.com .

She has become my muse, awakening in me creativity the likes of which I haven't seen in over 5 years. I wrote her poetry, and if you want I will share it.
