the copyright sign to work on a laptop?
I have always been told to use the function key on it with the blue #s but that isn't working lol

Hold down the function and alt keys, then type 0 1 6 9 (in the little, blue numbers).

Dang it neither of those work.
Neither of my Toshibas have ever allowed me to do it :(

Remember that you have to hold down the Alt key while typing 0169.

Hey Alan I was told that the you have to have the number pad to use the alt +0169 to work.
I have tried that too and it doesn't work since I only have the number line :(

Yeh, with laptops it's a little funky. The function+alt+blue keys deal works on mine (Dell), but apparently not on others.

Go to your start menu, click on 'run' and type 'charmap.exe'. It's a standard program in Windows that allows you to copy/paste all characters.
