I'm heading to Reno, Nv. this weekend for a small business conference. Any suggestions of things I shouldn't miss while I'm there ? I'm not going to have an enormous amount of spare time but will consider any suggestions if its doable.

Thanks !

Randy

Well, normally, I would say you have to take time to drive over to Lake Tahoe, but this may not be the best weekend for that, due to the huge fire. The north side of the lake is away from the fire, but I'm not sure how far the ash and smoke go. On the south shore, Emerald Bay is a particularly beautiful little area. There are a number of tourist things to do (even the old Ponderosa Ranch from Bonanza is outside Reno and can be toured). There should be lots of brochures available. Due to the fire, you may have to be flexible.

Lisa,

As it worked out I wasn't able to spend anytime away from my business associates. Looks like an interesting area from the airport and hotel viewpoint that is...
