Prepare yourself for frustration *100.

Amateur models from the Internet sites (for the most part) are flakes and completely unreliable. After your 10th no-show, you'll feel the same way.

JMHO.

Tom thanks for the link. I will check it out :D
Thanks Scott. I will call them on it lol. But I have learned that is the norm here though, noone gets in a hurry for anything, not sure why.
Guess that is why I don't "fit" in lol I am HIGH maintainance haha and I want things done and done right then etc...

So basically what you're trying to say is, book 10 different models all for the same date and time, and odds are you should at least get one?

You might find some on MySpace. I had thought I found one on there... after she replied to my first message saying she was interested I replied back and she then stopped replying. I've sent messages to other ladies that indicated they was interested in modeling No reply. Found another that was wanting to model as she needed the money. Exchanged a few messages... she seemed interested and she stopped replying.

So many on there say they want to model in the profile or be in the model networking and they may have "networking" indicated but they want reply, or the their gallery will be private or the whole profile will be private. I've offered TFCD (which most of them don't seem to know what that means so I started just saying I would give them a disc of images to use on their profile) plus some pay. It would be nice if they would have the courtesy to hit reply and say "sorry, not interested". I have to wander if a lot of them put "modeling" in their profiles just to impress their friends.

And there isn't many around this area that are "seeking" modeling so if I have someone 50 to 100 miles say they are interested and we set up a time and I show and they don't I am going to be a little bit more than wee bit ticked off.

I've found models on both model mayhem and myspace. All of which are very enthused to work. I only do TFCD since I am just starting out and building my port.

BTW, I have also found MUA's willing to do TFCD.

i guess I am just not saying the right thing. I would have thought that since I was going to pay a little they would be more willing. But maybe part of the problem is so many perverted guys have emailed them with the purpose of trying to get them out of their clothes that anytime a guy like me contacts them for a ligit shoot they think of the bad responses they got.

If you do that, then you're guaranteed to have all ten show up...

What Daniel is keeping inside is that he would GLADLY take the extras off your hands though

...though if I show up, you won't get any models for a year. So I should probably stay in Fort Jackson where I belong...

I've found a couple decent ones on modellaunch.com as well... and they don't take people with cellphone, webcam, or myspace like images... so you get a slightly higher class Internet model than ModelMayhem.
