I have been looking to buy a Nikon 80-200 2.8 AF-S lens for a while. I found a mint used lens for sale for 750.00. Anyone owning one of these lenses think it would be worthwhile to pull the trigger on this one. Are you satisfied with the lens? I am trying to round out my lens bag a little more. So far I have a Nikon 18-200 VR, Sigma 50-500, Nikon 50mm 1.8. Was looking to buy this lens for sports/indoor weddings for friends. Thanks for any input. |

I don't have the "s" version, but rather have the older, push-pull version. You can probably find a non "s" version for a tad cheaper if you look, unless you are wanting that particular one.
