So Jah and I have been working on this website that ranks guilds by their PVE progression (he did all the hard programmer work :p). It doesn't work for European servers yet but it will soon. I thought I'd share this with you guys and see what you think. Personally I think it's pretty cool to be able to see what your guild's status is :)

So how do you gather the info for the guilds progression?

Basically it's done by scanning the armory and seeing what loot the people in the guild are using. It's impossible for it to be 100% accurate but it's pretty good. :)

are the different server forums still running lists of what guild has done what and updating by players?

Most servers used to have a stickied thread that had progression and was split between alliance and horde.

Of course if you're program is scanning the armory by itself then those threads are meaningless.

It's not quite accurate enough to render the progression threads obsolete yet - but it's pretty close!

The search feature will be made available soon. Right now the easiest thing is to just look at the realm list, find your realm, and scroll through the guild ranks or do a find on the page :)

carl - I can't take credit for the idea. It was all Jah and he did most of the hard work. I'm just the late night pizza and brainstorming companion and the resident art nerd ^_^
