Contact the church and see if anyone knows the people having the wedding. Tell them your concerns. See if you can discretely find out if they have been paid already and if their money is good!!

Reading that, they are saying the other person owes them an overpayment?

Sounds fishy to me.

Right lol.
I was just playing with her cause in the other thread a lot were saying that she would run lol, obviously she didn't. The first scammer I just deleted, guess I should have done the same for this one lol.
I will google and see if there is any such church etc..

There is one over on MLK. Here is their website. You got good advice from Renae to contact the church and check to see if the event is real.

The next step is to stop emailing them. Every time you contact them they get more info about you and your email account. Call the FBI office in Corpus.

it is, it's a well known scam.

Usually they want you to return the overpayment via Western Union money order.

A lot of times they do the "a friend owes me some money and I'll have him pay you and you can send me the difference" line. When you pay the difference using the cashiers check or money order they get their money, when your bank finds out the check you deposited is fraudulent you lose out on not only the money that wwas deposited but also the returned check fees. So if you've emptied the money it puts your personal account into a negative status.

it really depends...do you want to play with them and have a good laugh or do you just want it to go away?

If you just want it to go away mark the email as spam, and enter the address as blocked and you'll never have to worry about it again.

If you want to have fun with them...well that's an entirely different story and we can go there if you want to

Just delete it and move on... it's a scam, and these people are never worth the trouble.

OK so as long as I mark it as spam and delete it I am done with her? I don't want it to keep going. I have too much other crap to deal with. I don't need spammers lol.
I will mark her as spam and go from there thanks guys. I mean i knew it was a scam but I thought that email she would stop since I said check had to clear first. Oh well I will delete them all from now on lol
Thanks again

Give her a bogus name and, as your address, give them the address to your local PD or FBI office! They can mail them the bogus $$!
