Is it a C-print or inkjet? If inkjet, dye or pigment? Coated? With what?

Ask the company that did the printing, if not you. They may need to check your record to know what printer, inks, coatings, etc. were used.

If you printed, check with printer manufacturer.

Bill,
Unfortunately, the print was done overseas. Not sure what the type is. This is my first canvas print.

Can you get to any printed area that is not seen? i.e. where the canvas is wrapped or covered by a frame. This would give you an area to experiment with. Sorry, but I don't know what to try. If it's an inkjet you're going to have a tough time as the ink is just sitting on a coating on the canvas.

A last ditch effort might be to have the whole thing sprayed with one of the inkjet protection sprays - it might even out the sheens.

Maybe some powder that soaks up oil? Like for garage floors.

Or blotting paper or other absorbent material(plain tissue).
