If you have a card reader, just treat it like a floppy or hard drive (copy and paste them on). If you have a camera connected via USB, same thing... look in My Computer for the camera.

OK let me see if I get this right.
I take the folder in my computer under pics and I tell it to move to, send to what ever the option would be and I select the drive that the Card reader is in and it puts them on the card?
I hope this is right if not I will feel even more stupid lol

Yep, that's right.

My card reader typically shows up as the F: drive (it could be any letter). So when I put files back on the card, I put them in the F: drive.

when you put the card into the reader, whether it be thethered with USB or built in the "autorun" feature should pop up and ask if you want to view the files on the card, or open various programs etc. Select one that opens the card for viewing.

Then open a Windows Explorer window and find the files you want and you can do a copy/paste job on the pics and the card will save them.

You will have to wait a few more seconds before someone else on the site posts the answer. Daniel is just like the guy who is best with the buzzer on Jeapordy. It doesn't mean that he knows more than the guy on his left, but he's always quicker to the buzzer.

What frame are you going to buy?

Thanks Duffy. I know everyone here has been great.
It is just in the past 2 days or so Daniels has been right there within minutes of posting :D
I am looking at the one a Sams. I was in there this morning getting a stool and it looks really elegant.
10.5 inches. Gotta be pretty big since their eyes are pretty bad. That is even if my grandpa makes it to Christmas. Everyone thinks he won't make it through the summer :( So it looks like we will be making a trip home a year earlier than planned.

I got one lase Christmas and it had one really big problem. If you put in a file that was the wrong aspect ratio, it would stretch the picture to fit the frame. This was really awful, and the thing is sitting in a box unused. I won't even give it to someone because I think its so bad.

So when you decide to buy one of these, you should make sure that it handles odd sized pictures correctly. Also make sure that it will do what you want with an image you send it that is bigger or smaller than the frames native resolution.

Oh, and Daniels post count shows that he has been posting about once an hour every hour since he joined last May.

Make sure you have a card reader/WRITER, otherwise it won't work.
Some card readers only read.
