Any DFW water skiers in the bunch? I lost the Natique in my divorce a couple years ago (had to keep the home/studio) and now that the sun is shining I am ACHING for a glassy smooth run. This feels a bit like posting a ride share request on the bulletin board in college, but here goes...

"Willing and experienced driver/spotter will trade for slalom run. Sunrise preferred."

Used to be pretty hard core along with the hubby. We skied year round in California (dry suits in the winter). Even learned how to barefoot. I'm not so young as I used to be, but I think I can still cut it up on a slalom given the opportunity. It's been more than two years since my last run.

I snow ski and scuba dive too. Might be fun to organize a trip to the mountains or the reefs amongst the group here. Any takers????

I just went skiing for the first time since I was 10 years old a week or so ago. I forgot how much fun it is!

Tubing is fun too! :D

It's been awhile since I've slalomed or water skiied for that mater... used to be "pretty hard core" as you say... I don't think my 14' Express / 25HP Yamaha will get either one of us up but it's good for sneaking up on reds in the bays I'm going to Breckenridge in late Dec / early Jan for a week. That should be interesting. It's been a while since I careened down a slope... I doubt if I'll be skiing any black slopes or jumping any headwalls this trip but you never know

Jim, you look like you're having a heck of a good time!! I might have to dig through the archives for some pics to share. And Mike... I'd ski behind damn near anything at this point!
