Bought a 1953 TV and 1950's Table Radio - 07-13-2007, 06:52 PM

Well I bought a 1953 television and a 1950's table top radio. Now I need to find a model to in the DFW area to pose with the items plus others to give it that old timey feel.

Edited - Added a photo of the old tv and radio in a sort of set up.

That looks good Paul. 12" round tube, Black and white! That chair sure looks like one that my parents had back then.
And a test pattern on the screen would look very period too, because that was what was on the tube most of the time! Programming was only available for a few hours a day back then, at least in my hillbilly neck of the woods.

Well I am trying to make it look as authentic as possible. The only problem I have is I cannot find where to plug in the dang Cable TV

It might work but I have not plugged it in to find out. There are a few wires loose inside and I do not know if the vacuum tubes still work. I do have an extra picture tube for it.
