Trashable Dresses! - 07-13-2007, 08:45 PM

Well, we've just about gone through all the inventory for the bridal shop that we bought... There is some ugly stuff in there! Gowns from the 1980's that just couldn't find a home, I'm guessing. So, now we're trying to figure out what to do with 'em.

Anybody think there may some photogs out there looking to buy a dress or two just to trash? I'm thinking that, maybe, even if no bride would wear one on her wedding day, a model may have fun trashing it. Whatcha think??? Should I toss a few listings up in buy/sell areas of photography forums? Ebay, maybe?

If they're not too ugly you might contact a few folks on the wedding speaking circuit. They often use models... and some of them love to trash the dresses. Bambi Cantrell comes to mind. In addition, you might contact Don Dickson of Texas School and see if they might like to buy a few for next years wedding courses.
