Bought My New Canon EOS 5D - 07-16-2007, 02:41 PM

My new Canon EOS 5D is finally on it's way

Anyone know of any good buys for compact flash, say around 4gb or 8gb?

Where CF cards are concerned, don't get the RiData Supreme series (yellow label). I had 2 8GB cards fail on me within 30 days of receiving them.

Acually there are only a Few semiconductor companies that do flash memory and the brand does make much difference.
I use a PQI 40 2GB in my 20d and Lexar 40 1GB in my 10d.
No problems with either.

I user nothing but SanDisk Extreme 2-4 Gig III's in my 5D and never a problem.

It's quality camera stick with fast quality cards.

Buy them from newegg.com. I got an 8 GB 133X transcend card a few months back for $74. Absolutely no problems whatsoever.
