Is anyone else tired of sitting behind these darn computers??? I've got a hankering for a trip! Do we have any scuba divers in the bunch?? Are any of you interested in planning a trip?

Any snow skiers? From this state that involves a trip too!

Let's go get some excercise and shake the demons out!!

Me & the bf are trying to plan another scuba trip this summer somewhere & a ski trip the 1st week of january to Steamboat. We might try to hit New Mexico again this year if they get enough snow. If you just want to escape to the lake I live on Lake Bridgeport & have an awesome wakeboard boat- you can wakeboard, surf or wakeskate behind it - just let me know if you wanna go sometime :) and just think the lake is full right now LOL (it hasn't been that way in 6 years or more)

Wow Stacy, that's a nice offer. I'm more into slalom than wakeboarding, but I'd be happy to just get wet and take a run. I'll keep that in mind and PM you if I see an opportunity to get out your way. If there's enough response re a dive trip it might be fun to organize a group thing. And snow skiing too! Not often I meet another gal that enjoys all the activities I do. Heck, not often I meet a guy who does for that matter!

I sure wish I lived up your way! It has been YEARS since I have been on a wakeboard, but I would LOVE to go again!! I still have my favorite board and it was my first. Things have improved alot since I bought it, but it's still my favorite!!

It's still a long ways off, but I've got reservations in the Keys for mid November. Will get in a couple of dives in the few short days we'll be there.

Dang... Florida Keys... My daughter was a toddler last time I dove there! She's 14 now. It's been too long. I wonder how hard it would be to organize a trip amongst the gang here. It's hard enough to find the "perfect" date for a local workshop. Unrealistic to think it could be done for a multi day trip out of state?? Maybe we could make it a workshop too, so everyone could at least take it as a tax deduction? (Always using the 'ol noodle, as my Daddy would say! )

Well, I'm not much of a skier or a Scuba diver. It sounds like great fun, but I'm betting I'll be all vacationed out once I finish our trip next week to Mount Rushmore with my two kids in tow. I'm looking forward to the drive with my two year old that has found his voice. He tends to repeat himself ALOT! I'm hoping for an awesome photographic vacation. I hope you find someone to go with ya, it sounds like a lot of fun to be had!

SCUBA! SCUBA! SCUBA!

Let's all jet down to Playa del Carmen for a long weekend.. 2x2-tankers over a weekend would be just what the doctor ordered..

(Well, that, and an absurd amount of margaritas)

A group of us have been toying with the idea of doing an excursion to White Sands off and on for the last year... go do a photo expedition out there.. landscapes, wildlife, maybe even a model shoot.

Not much scuba there, though... or snow-skiing for that matter. LOL

You might talk me into that excursion too Brad, but I'm dying for a dive, hitting the slopes AND a few good hard passes behind a ski boat!

Diver here, but not as much as I'd like...and probably even less in the future now that we're trying for kids.

Just wondering how she'd look doing that with a 4 foot softbox in one hand and a monopod in the other, tow rope in her teeth... lol

I learned to dive when I was stationed in Pearl Harbor back in the late 90's. I was working on my PADI Divemaster quals when I left. Sadly I was pretty landlocked, and became a single father shortly thereafter so I haven't dove in about 9 years.

My biggest fun thing now is playing paintball.
