I was most upset with the loss of Fred Weasly. After their leaving Hogwarts with such fanfare, I was really pulling for him and George. I could see either one of them being Minister of Magic one day. I am truly sorry for the loss.

So who's death upset you the most?

Fred for sure. Dobby a close second.

Fred definitely the most. I also thought about how Fred's death affected George. I just don't think George will still be the happy-go-lucky guy without his twin. Not to mention how this will affect their business.
Lupin and Tonks would tie for number two, but only because they just had the baby.
And then yes, Dobby.

Did anybody else laugh thinking about the look on Griphook's face when the Sword disappeared right from under his nose? I mean think about it, when Neville pulled it out of the sorting hat, Griphook must've sh*t a brick.

Now the real question, was anybody else surprised to learn the real reason Dumbledore trusted Snape?

Actually, no, not at all. It was alluded to pretty strongly in book 5 (I think) when Harry got into Snapes memories about his mother and father. Specifically how James Potter treated Snape--teasing him mercilessly about his feelings for Lily.

I was however totally surprised by the twists of Dumbledore's family and the way he acted as a young child. I was also disappointed in his character when we found out why his hand was all withered in book 6.

This may sound strange, but I was shocked the most by Hedwig. It just happened so fast, at the beginning and from that moment on I just steeled myself to the fact that no one was safe. I cried not when Dobby died, but when Harry dug the grave and not when Fred died, but when Molly was crying over his body. And the death that bothers me the most is Snape. I have always believed that Snape was good and I always thought he would die, but I thought it would be in a raging wand battle fighting for the good guys.

All good points. Yeah, Hedwig was a huge surprise. And Snape deserved better for everything he did.

What I find interesting is that she didn't explore the parallels in Teddy's situation, with Lupin and Tonks killed by Voldemort when he was just a baby, and Harry's situation that kicked the whole thing off. Next series perhaps?
