Thank you for having such a big heart, I'm sure he will greatly reward you with a dead mouse or something hehe. Scooter did scoot into your lives even if he does look like Morris.
Bruce is right if the tests come back with Feline Leukemia and other such problems. I recently went through this again and years ago they said the test was faulty. My vet assured me that was no longer the case, but after reading up on it again in a medical location I found that the test has to be re-run if it comes up positive, even negative because it is not full proof. Even shots against it are not full proof. A lot of the cat population already has it and you never know it unless for some reason they get hurt, sick or stressed which causes their bodies immune system not to be able to suppress it. Most live long happy lives if kept in a happy well fed environment. Main reason I consider valid for keeping them seperate is in case they have rabies which is a rare event in a city but it has happened. |
