Please pray for all of us out here and the families and friends missing (I personally have 1 brother unaccounted for)

there is 6 confirmed dead, 1 missing construction workers, many injured and still a bit more wreckage in the water to go through.

Picture slideshow, it runs a good while, ends with a Twinkies (Twins) moment of silence.

Right now there is lots of speculation but no known cause. The road construction going on is not considered the source at this time as it was minor and normal work -road resurfacing.

The speculation is that due to the heat, the large number of cars on the bridge at the time (pre Twins game traffic and rush hour) combined with a bridge w/ no support in the middle of the bridge that something structural gave way and cause the bridge to go down w/ a domino type action w/ the weight pulling down the attached areas.

Amazing how it went down like it did.

As for the pics, the one with the three priests is sad, but good. There is also a pic of the rail car crushed like a can. It could have been worse if there was a chemical vessel underneath.

Thanks for asking - we got a text late last night that he is okay. Glad to hear yours are okay too.

The first thing I thought of this morning was your brother. I am so glad to hear he is ok. My company has a huge facility in Eagan, MN and was checking to make sure everyone there was ok too.

I hope they find other survivors. So sad.

Thank you Andrew. Hope everyone at your company is okay.

Unfortunately I think more survivors is unlikely w/ 20-30 missing still.
