Well I placed my order last night and did the overnight service. I just wanted to make sure that I didn't miss anything. It wasn't so much towards MPIX as it was me knowing what I was doing!! I'm very excited! This thread should be an ad for MPIX. If i was concerned before, there is no reason to be now!! lol

Thanks everyone, I appreciate all of the advice!

I dont think that the extra $ for shipping is necessary, we always get our prints in 3 days.

but MPIX is great.

Have you gotten your order today? I was curious how they turned out.

I'm thinking about starting to build a portfolio for seniors and was considering using them. It sounds like people are very happy with them.

Funny you say that...Just the other day I was thinking, as much as we talk about MPIX here, they should be a sponsor of TPF!

I agree...except I get mine in two days with the regular (USPS) shipping.

They did come in today however... I had them shipped to my husbands work because I wouldn't be around the house. He isn't home yet.... it's driving me crazy!! I'll let you know how they came out later tonight!

I used the metallic paper myself, and absolutely loved the results.

I was scared before I placed my first order for sale, too. Mpix always turns out well, though. I agree it is fun to get them in the mail! I think I'm the only one who lets them color correct. My monitor is calibrated but so far I've never had an issue, so I still haven't checked the box. *shrug* Maybe next time I do some prints just for me I will check it and see what happens.

I hope they're great!

Well my order is here and I'm extremely pleased! I had 2 buttons that looks like it may be some kind of chemical on them, but other than that they look great! I messed up on my cropping for 1 and cropped it too far. When they put it in a frame it's going to cut off part of her head so I have to fix that one and get it reprinted but that's just my lack of experience! As for the buttons, I will call mpix Monday morning and I'm sure that will get worked out then!

Thanks again everyone for your help. It made me feel so much better and now I can't wait to place my next order!!

Roxanna
