i am getting ready to place my 1st order with mpix and I'm not sure why, but I'm really nervous. It may be because it's the first time anyone has ordered prints from me. Any words of advice before I place the order?

I think my biggest fear is that the preview is not what it really looks like, lol. I did the pictures for my step-daughters softball team this year so I have about 15 different orders that I'm entering. I have this big fear that I'll get them in and they'll all be bad or wrong or something!!! Is that a self-esteem issue? lol

Do it! They are totally great. You'll be so happy when they arrive. I submitted my largest order to date with them the other day. I left the computer uploading overnight. Holy Carp that was a huge order! They are totally great - and they have ROES!

Best advice for Mpix is to go ahead and pay the overnight fee... its really not that much more... and its a flat fee.

Mpix has always done a great job with colors, upsizing, etc. I've always been pleased. The only thing I haven't tried yet is the metallic paper, but I have seen it and it looks nice.

Order some test prints first. That's what I do just to make sure I've got things looking good. Then you won't be nervous placing the entire order. :-)

MPIX is fine....you're being nervous.

Would you be more nervous is you took them to Wal-Mart?

MPIX is great. If something is wrong with the images, they will replace your entire order for free. You have NOTHING to worry about. And you would still be able to order them today, pay for overnight shipping ($10), and they will be there tomorrow...great stuff

i previously used mpix as i was portfolio building.
i love them.
and i will probably still use them for specialty items like trading cards and stuff.
oh, and they have GREAT press printed products, and sales.
their customer service is great too.
the only thing i have ever been highly disappointed in were their new press printed books.

oh..and their metallic paper is my favorite compared to the few other labs i have tried.. as is their pearl paper. great stuff for business cards.
i cant imagine you being disappointed.

Mpix is great for regular prints, but don't order canvas gallery wraps from them. The one I ordered was not sealed, and the ink would rub off the canvas.
