I have found my life's quest... - 08-11-2007, 10:51 PM

Not to be too dramatic or anything, but tonight I made myself what could possibly be considered the world's greatest hamburger:

It was near 1/2 pound of ground beef cooked with sliced jalepenos (out of a jar), with grilled onions, and bacon, with cheese melted over the top, with a couple of slices of tomato, and avacado, all on a toated bun.

Now I must spend the rest of my life at various establishments trying to find a burger that is done better than the one I just made here at home.

Nevermind -- I'll take care of it myself!

Have you ever tried this ? Take your burger off the grill when done then put you're peppers onions or whatever you like on it. Then put it on you're bun and wrap the whole burger with aluminium (spell check that ) foil and put it back on the grill for about 3-5 min. Then eat! Someone told me this and I laughed, but tried it and it was great!

You should never cook hamburger medium rare. I will take the bleu cheese, though.

I know, I know.. but I like to live on the edge. I'm a rebel who likes to thumb his nose at 'The Establishment'..

Sometimes I even drink milk the day AFTER the expiration date... back off man, I'm dangerous.

Hey, it's your choice. :) Personally, I prefer my E Coli cooked well done.

well, give this a try - go to your nearest applebee's and get their quesadilla burger. my daughter told me about it, so i had to try. it's one of those tastes you will crave after having one.

I happen to have a copy of that particular recipe. I came across it one day when I was looking for recipes online. If you would like to have it let me know.
