They had a hard-to-find DVI-D extension cable that I needed badly. I searched locally first: Fry's, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. to no avail. Ordered from NewEgg last Friday and got it today. I know other online merchants probably have it, but NE came to mind so I went with them. --------------------------- Everyone wants to be a rock star, but no one wants to learn the chords. |

my brother in law uses NewEgg for a lot of things, in fact thats all he asks for at christmas is gift certificates to NewEgg. |

I've found that if you cant find a cable at best buy etc. a good backup is alltex. In fact, its pretty much where I go first now! Their prices are RIDICULOUSLY better than best buy etc. Of course, I still order a good bit of stuff from Newegg! --------------------------- 1d mkII, 20D, sigma 15mm f2.8, 28 1.8, 50 1.8, 28-70 2.8, 70-200 f2.8, 1.4 mkII extender. I ordered all the parts for my new computer from them last April - they are awesome. Despite being slow, their website is informative and useful. Having the reviews are quite nice, but you have to learn to pick through the b.s. that people leave  |

I still use NewEgg quite often, but about a 12 - 18 months ago they jacked up their "shipping and handling" prices.
