Question about rights and releases - 08-14-2007, 04:24 PM

I am looking at entering some pics for a local company to use in a coffee table book.
But this is what it says:
all entries submitted become the sole property of said company. Participants who's images or photos are used will be given credit in the book and receive a copy of the book free of charge.

So tell me this, if I send them some images am I giving up all rights to this or just giving them usage rights?

Not sure how that is though they want the images by email so how would you sign something?

Usually, somewhere else it says by submiting photos you agree and understand the rules and regulations or what ever they are calling it.
