Help! - 08-15-2007, 03:05 PM

I am looking at doing an event here in Corpus. I am setting up a booth to do photos of the animals.
Should I take a printer to print off the images or should I just offer them on a disk? I am thinking more people would buy if they can take it home that day right?
Help!
Has anyone done anything like this before? Any suggestions etc...
TIA

good idea. don't forget to give out your card.
also if you give them on cd then print your information on cd.
if possible print it on each photo as well. I think you need helper to do all that if you are planning to give cd right away.

Oh I mean make cd label with your contact information etc.. before hand, stick it on cd before you burn it. That way when you take photo burn cd and hand it over, less time.
I don't know how to move thread

Breezy
This is quite an undertaking. Animals are hard to photograph under the best of circumstances. Be ready for anything, but have fun.
I've done this and offered 8X10 prints. You definitely need someone to print the photos and collect the money, etc. What worked best for me was to have several CF cards, shoot the animal, give the CF card to the co-worker and move on to the next animal with a new CF card. The co-worker can transfer the images to the hard drive and return the CF card to you. You format it and shoot. Rinse and Repeat......

Our biggest problem was that the printer we had was really sllloooooow.
Make sure you have paper and lots of ink. I wouldn't mess with CD unless you feel more comfortable with them.
