That sign brings back memories. Burma Shave signs, Rock City signs, the drug store in South Dakota (Wall Drug? maybe). Last weekend I was in the French quarter. I saw a number of old yellow Kodak signs outside shops. I didn't see any yellow boxes inside. Come to think of it, I don't think I took a single picture of one of those signs. DUMB!
Tiffany: I'm pretty sure you can get all your chemicals in liquid form. All you need to do for use is dilute them with distilled water. Rodinal, HC110 & several Ilford developers come in liquid concentrate.
On to the quote from Randy in Oklahoma posted on the Large Format Forum. I've been thinking about this and Randy summed up my thoughts perfectly. I can't do many things with my hands. I'm no carpenter, scuptor, potter, can't draw. But I can make a fair to middlin photograph with my hands.

Don't shout me down. Like Percy, I did use digis. In school, we spent one semester of class on digis and Photoshop. They may well indeed have their foot permanantly implanted in the world of photography. Just not in my little world. To me, there is nothing like the feeling you get when you see that image pop up on the negative. Or the rush from pulling the print from the developer and having in your hands something that you created on your own. Something that no other person alive on the face of the earth can duplicate. Close maybe, but not exactly. It is a one-of-a-kind, uniquely yours, masterpiece. And sorta similar to Percy, I don't even own a scanner. Just no interest.
