It’s always funny to see people laugh at things they have no first hand knowledge or proof of, it has happened since the beginning of time and will until the end of time. Those with closed minds would have never sailed off the end of the world to discover America or even learned to fly!

I can even laugh at myself because even with having heard the truth from reliable sources in matters, it took actually finding out for myself to really believe the unbelievable. While you can have fun at someone else’s expense, they can have fun at yours even without being fully enlightened.

I'm about as open minded as it gets when it comes to scientific matters. The reality is that "aliens" may very well exist (the odds are pretty good that they do) however the above linked story is pretty absurd. I could list 20 reasons for saying that but I don't have the time or inclination to do so. We live in a fantastic universe (or universes) and I'm sure there are many surprises to come before the sun incinerates our little planet (in a few billion years) but... the story listed above is not one of them.

Glad to hear it Mike since this thread lowered my spirit for others not understanding I was laughing too but in a different way.

Day after this I made a DFW weatherman laugh so much I made the top of his blog today which was a big surprise and first for me, so when it really counts it's nice to know I've still got it.
