70's songs - Let me HEAR and SEE your favorites - 08-24-2007, 02:21 AM

Alright I saw this on another forum and I loved the idea AND since Abel was kind enough to add the YOU TUBE tags into the forum (YEAH) lets see your favorite 70's songs/videos from YouTube.

Just let us know why you like it or why you felt like you needed to post it. Post WARNINGS if needed also people!

I was a product of the 80's but since it was all pop crap I hated it, I always went back to the Glam Rock or Shock Rock of the 70's, with KISS being my all time favorite.

To make your videos show up do the following
Click on the You Tube botton in the forum thread here
Copy the URL of the Video you want to post
then ONLY the last part of the link and it will work! (not the link to youtube on the video link)
Your done!

KISS - The Attitude of TriCoast It is what I based the business on completely! (if you don't have the talent - make sure you at least put on a good show)

First Song - First Album - Still my favorite KISS song of all time!

Alice Cooper - Umm maybe this is why I was a CSI guy for 15 years I love me some dead people, I still photograph them they just die much slower and more painful now - its called marriage......

Frank Zappa - Bobby Brown (Lang. Warning) - The guy was just out there - I love him! You think The Hoff is big in Germany you should see how they treat this guy - like a GOD.

How can you forget Black Sabbath

The music I grew up listening too.

Best U.S.A. garage band in their early days.

Heartbreaker

Inside Looking Out

Into the Sun

T.N.U.C. (with drum solo)

And lets not forget the late great blues master Freddie King. I saw him live in the early 70's at Armadillo World Headquarters in Austin while he was recording an album. Eric Clapton once said of King that Freddie taught him how to make love to his guitar.

Best live show band ever. First Houston concert I attended at the Sam Houston Coliseum. I think to this day my hair still reeks of whatever everyone was smoking at that show. Not much of their early stuff on YouTube before they went pop in late '70's early '80's. If you want a toe tapping party album pick up the J. Geils live album "Full House". This first clip is from a more recent reunion but the band still has it.

Blow your face out baby....

Edit...

Can't forget this one. Just shot Ted Nugent recently when he started his show off with this old song at Verizon Wireless Theater.

Many a fine evenings spent enjoying the "finer things" in life with this song. One of the very first to have the distinctive programmed electronic beat that has been so popular since.

By the way, others have posted some of my other favorites (Ramones are my favorite band!)

Well Tiffany beat me to The Ramones, my all time favorite band (seen them more than 50 times) so I started trying to remember which other songs I was cranking continously back then, that caused all this hearing loss I've got now.
And then I remembered:
