My opinion? This was posted earlier this morning and closed by the afternoon, presumably because it became too political. Since you already are bringing up our "freedom of speech," I wouldn't hold out my hopes for the life of this thread either. It doesn't seem to be something people can discuss calmly.

Didn't have a thing to do with politics. The guy was a well-known campus practical joker, trolling for a youtube video moment (which he got in spades). he had two buddies there waiting with video cameras, and a website already built to post it (the website was up in about the amount of time it took his buddies to dump the video over firewire from the cameras).

While deliberately being a horses butt is probably inadvisable, I have to admit, every time I hear him holler "Don't tase me bro, don't tase me", I have to laugh. Funny stuff.

You can see a smirk on his face as he being accosted at one point. It's amazing how much info is telegraphed on a face.

The last post I saw from that thread wasn't all that political but I fully expected that the thread would die even though a mod started it
